Horseycarboot Titchfield July 2009
Feedback
Hi. Came to Titchfield today and thought it was great. Very well planned with good access and egress. Well done! Will come along to another definitely.
Handy Hints
Sellers
-
Bring your own table, or large sheet/ tarpaulin to display your items on.
-
For indoor events - put all your items into big bags or boxes, so you dont have to make too many trips to the car.
-
If it looks like it might rain, bring plenty of raincoats, and a brolly - or even a gazebo to sit under!
-
Bring plenty of change / coins with you
-
Mark up all your items, with the sizes, or make sure you know these for when buyers ask.
-
Bring some carrier bags for your buyers to take their items away in
-
If you are flexible on your selling prices, tell buyers this, and barter with them! - Maybe offer a discount if they buy another item from you aswell.

Buyers
-
Write down the measurements for all your tack before you come, bits, rugs, saddles etc, you want to be sure what sizes you are looking for so you wont miss out on a bargain!
-
Bring plenty of money - you never know how many bargains you will find! ( the nearest cashpoint for Tichfield is at the shell station, and for Pinkmead, is Botley Centre- both less than 1 mile)
-
Bring a bag to put your purchases in.
-
Take your time and look around all the stalls
-
Come along in the morning to snap up a bargain, have a snack from the refreshments stand, and go around again later in the day, when sellers may let items go for less money, instead of taking them home again!
